Sampoong was established in 1987 as a manufacturer of wire, cable and electrical components. In 1989, we successfully entered the competitive automotive supplier market. Our aggressive research & development activities, as well continuous quality improvement, have resulted in continued growth in the automotive sector.

We strive to achieve this by providing high quality products at low cost with shortest possible lead-time. Ongoing cost reduction efforts and management innovation have led to ever increasing customer satisfaction and growing worldwide customer base.

Sampoong has successfully completed a five year computerization project, began in 1993, to automate the entire manufacturing process, resulting in increased process control and decreased manufacturing cost.
